    President & Co-Founder

    Jennifer is the President and a founding board member of CARE Jeunesse. She is also an Alumni of care in Quebec. Jennifer is passionate about ensuring that young people leaving care have the support and community that they need to succeed!  Jennifer has a DEC in Social Services from Dawson College and a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from McGill University.  In her spare time Jennifer enjoys travelling, trying new recipes, hanging out with her family and pug. Jennifer also dreams of publishing her story one day.

    Varda is a Professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at Concordia University where she teaches Youth Work and Counselling. She worked for more than 30 years as a psychologist in the care system in Montreal and her research documents the experiences of youth aging out Quebec. Varda started out as an “adult ally” to CARE when the organization first began, and is honoured to now serve as Vice President. Varda loves attending CARE events and sculpts and reads novels in her spare time.




    Jessica is the Treasurer of CARE Jeunesse's Board of Directors.  With over 7 years experience working in the non-profit sector, Jessica has a passion for having a positive impact in her community, particular for issues affecting youth and teens.  She recognizes the importance a positive support network can have and is committed to helping CARE Jeunesse fulfill its mission.  Jessica holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Human Sciences from Concordia University.

    Board Member

    Explorer on a mission and often the cheerleader of the team, if there's no challenge on the horizon, she'll create one! 

    She had experienced the child welfare system in her early life.  Now in her fifties, she matured to a profound liberation and is grateful for the immense peace that has blossomed into her life.

    With a Bachelor of Arts, she finds transcendence through aesthetic creative work, engineering and monumental works of art.

    Anthony a former youth from the foster care system in Quebec,1985-1997. He has recently returned to Dawson College and completed his DEC in Community Recreation And Leaderships Training. He has been since working at Batshaw /CIUSSS-ODIM as an Educator. He joined the Board of Care Jeunesse in 2019, as he looked forward to giving back to those who need it the most. Having been there himself, he knows what a difference this organization will make.
